HOTREMAI was established in the year 1982 & was formally registered under the societies registration act in the year 1994.

The aims & objectives of HOTREMAI :

• To represent adequately the social interests of the members before any government body, semi government, local and    /or any other statutory body, court, tribunal, hotels, restaurants and allied establishments.
• To strive for standardization of equipment/ product / services to the hotels, restaurants and allied establishments.
• To publish newsletters / literature etc. for the benefit of the members of the Association as well as hotels, restaurants and    allied establishments in India and abroad.
• To establish, sponsor or collaborate with other agencies, organisations, institutions or services in fulfilment of any or all    the above objectives.
• To do all such acts, as may be required to be done in the interest of its members and in its own interest including investing    in financial institutions and buying or selling any
   property in its own interest as lawfully permitted.

The activities of the HOTERMAI :

• Safeguards & Represents Interest of Members:
   HOTREMAI strives to safeguard and represent interest of its members in particular and of the industry in general by    taking-up various issues adversely effecting the business
   of its members with the government bodies, hotels,restaurants and their associations.
• Business Promotion Through its Programmes and Events: HOTREMAI organises in-house meets, like Purchase Managers    Meet, Hotel Consultants & architects Meet, F & B Manages Meet, Project & Engineers Meet and such other events, where    the representatives of the hospitality industry interact with its members, know their products and services, discuss the    problems faced by them and make collective efforts for their effective solutions besides establishing mutual    understandings and workout fruitful business deals. This provides its members a platform to demonstrate their products    and services and provides opportunity to know their customers’ needs.
• Special Discounts for its Member in Industry Exhibitions & Fairs:

HOTREMAI facilitates its members with special discounted rates for participating in business exhibitions, fairs, shows and events organised by government and non-government trade and industry promotion bodies.

• Informative to its Members:

HOTREMAI publishes a periodical journal known as ‘HOTREMAI REPORTS’ in its effort to be more informative to its members and the industry. It carries information on activities, happenings and developments in the hospitality and allied sector and also covers the information on new projects, exhibitions and events. This creates opportunities for members to actively participate by sharing their views and also advertise their products and services at nominal costs. The ‘HOTREMAI REPORTS’ is circulated free of cost in the hospitality industry.
