1. What is Aahar Fair?
Answer: Aahar is an International Event being organized by ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi every year during March. The forthcoming exhibition will be 27th in the series of event.
2. When is the next Aahar to be held?
Answer: The 27th Aahar, 2012 is to be held from 12-16, March, 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
3. What is the display sector of this event?
Answer: The two major sectors of this event are (i) Food Sector & (ii) Hospitality Sector. The product spectrum of display items will be as follows:- Food processing, packaging, mill machinery and equipment Machinery related to food processing & packaging of food products, milling machinery, poultry, farm equipments and supplies; Dairy & confectionery equipments; Air-conditioning, refrigeration & cold storage systems; Air & water pollution control equipments & accessories; Hotel & kitchen equipment & tablewares; Laundry & interior and House keeping; Health & fitness equipment; Consultancy services and miscellaneous products related to food industry and hospitality supplies.
4. Who are all the collaborators and Associates for this event?
Answer: This event is being organized in collaboration with Ministry of Food Processing Industries (Govt. of India), Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA). The Associates for this event are (i) Association of Resources Companies for the Hospitality Industry (ARCHI), (ii) Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Manufacturer’s Association of India (HOTREMAI) and (iii) All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA).
5. How many exhibitors participate in this exhibition?
Answer: During last edition there were 514 exhibitors participated which include the overseas participation from 12 countries.
6. Is there any Overseas Delegation visit this event?
Answer: During last edition there were 217 Overseas delegations visited this event from 29 countries.
7. What is the rental for this event?
Answer: The rental for this event are as follows:- i)Bare space (Min. 48 Sqm.) Rs.6,600/-
ii)Shell scheme Rs.7,200/-.
Apart from this rentals the participants will be charged corner charges @10% for two side open, 15% for three side open, 20% for Island space, 5% refundable security charges and service tax @ 10.3%.
8. How big is the forthcoming Aahar Show?
Answer: Aahar 2012 will be organized in Halls 7,8,9,10,11,12,12A, 14 & 18 occupying the gross area of 38214 Sqm.
9. How do we apply for the exhibition and how do we get the allotment?
Answer: First time ITPO has introduced the Online application process where anybody can apply through internet by logging into
www.aaharinternationalfair.com. There are various mode of making payment which include Online remittance, RTGS, DD in favour of India Trade Promotion Organization payable at Delhi.The allotment process are also computerized where the space is allotted as per the options exercised and the merits considered for:-
(i) Status of the organization eg. Manufacturers Exporters, Manufactures, Traders etc.
(ii) Turnover details certified by CA.
(iii) Loyality e.g. past participation in this event for the minimum of three years.
(iv) Area applied for.
(v) The allotted list of participants are displaed in the website and the invoices are sent to them via e-mail.
